Marvel's heroes have a lot on their plate. They fight the most diabolical villains, all the while having to deal with mercurial public opinion and the chance that the government is going to outlaw heroes at any moment. Many Marvel heroes have day jobs and lives outside of being heroes, which makes their heroic activities a source of extra stress for them. There are some Marvel heroes who get lucky and have relatively easy lives, even with all the drama, but most Marvel heroes are going through it.
