About Derek Faraci

Derek is the Training Lead for CBR, Collider, MovieWeb, and ScreenRant. After studying Literature at SUNY Purchase, Derek began his career in video games as a member of Activison's QA department. He spent 20 years working in games, TV, and film while also writing for several entertainment sites.
Derek is also the co-host of three podcasts: MarvelVision (discussing superhero TV shows), The Bad Batch (discussing Star Wars TV shows), and Watch Men (discussing superhero movies).

Favorite Media

Derek has a love for all things comics and movies. His favorite superhero is the Wally West version of Flash, and his favorite movie is Back to the Future. 
Derek turns to Mystery Science Theater 3000 when he wants a good laugh. He also listens to too many podcasts and loves a good ghost-hunting show.
When Derek wants to shut his mind off and chill, he turns to Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution or Rock Band.
